If you receive a parking ticket from the Township of Essa you have 3 options:
1. Option 1A - Early Fine Payment - Payment must be received within 7 working days of the day the ticket was issued. Payment can be made by cheque, cash or Debit at the Administration Centre or by Electronic Fund Transfer using the form below. Additionally, you can pay your ticket by completing and emailing a completed Electronic Fund Transfer Form to firstname.lastname@example.org
2. Option 1B - Voluntary Payment - Set Fine - Payment must be received within 15 working days of the day the ticket was issued. Payment can be made by cheque, cash or Debit at the Administration Centre or by Electronic Fund Transfer using the form below. Additionally, you can pay your ticket by completing and emailing a completedElectronic Fund Transfer Form to email@example.com
3. Option 2 - Trial Option - Notice of Intention to Appear in Court - you must fill out the back of the ticket and deliver it to the Administration Centre.
NEW! The Township of Essa is now able to accept payment for parking tickets using Electronic Funds Transfer. Just fill out the form below and email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please remember to include your ticket number on the Electronic Funds Transfer form.

Toys for Tickets
The Township of Essa has commenced the Toys for Tickets Campaign. Tickets issued between November 1 and 30, 2020 can be paid with a new toy or gift card. Toys will be be accepted up to December 9, 2020. For more information please check out the document below.

Winter Parking Restrictions
Parking is prohibited on
streets and highways between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. from November 1st to May 1st each calendar year. This restriction allows for snow plowing operations to remain uninterrupted. Vehicles parked on the roadway during the restricted time period may be
ticketed and/or towed away.
Parking on/or partly over a sidewalk is prohibited in accordance with the Township's Parking By-law. Vehicles parked on or over sidewalks may be ticketed and/or towed.
Motorists are reminded that parking is prohibited within 9 metres of a fire hydrant. Parking too close to a fire hydrant may result in the vehicle being ticketed and/or towed.
Motorists should be aware that parking within 9 metres of an intersection is prohibited in accordance with the Township's Parking By-law. Vehicles parked within 9 metres of an intersection may be ticketed and/or towed.
