Please be advised the Contractor is planning to extend the road closure of Simcoe Street from Water Street to Raglan Street starting Monday June 9, 2025, with access for local residents only. This road closure setup is expected to last until August 2025. Construction signage and a detour route will be set up during the closure.

Please be advised that the Township of Essa has recently awarded the Simcoe Street and Raglan Street Reconstruction project in Angus to Arnott Construction. The project limits include Simcoe Street between the west dead end and the east dead end, and Raglan Street from King Street to Simcoe Street as well as some ditch work on Water Street.
The Township is presently accepting applications for the position of Engineering Coordinator. Qualified candidates are requested to forward their resume by email.
