Media Release - Angus Health Clinic Receives Provincial Funding

Essa Township, ON - June 18, 2026 - Essa Township Council was pleased to welcome MPP Brian Saunderson for the announcement of a $1.53 million provincial investment that will help connect up to 4,699 more residents in Simcoe-Grey to primary care.

This funding will support expanded services at the Angus Health Clinic through the Barrie Community Health Centre, improving access to healthcare closer to home and helping more residents connect with a primary care provider.
