Media Release - Baxter Central Public School Receives Provincial Funding

Essa Township, ON - June 18, 2026 - Essa Township Council was pleased to welcome MPP Brian Saunderson for the announcement of a $6 million provincial investment to expand Baxter Central Public School.

This funding will support the creation of 141 new student spaces, helping meet the needs of our growing community and ensuring local students have access to modern learning environments close to home.

We thank the Province of Ontario and the Simcoe County District School Board for their continued investment in education and in the future of Essa Township.
