Please be advised that South Shore Contracting will be replacing culvert structures on the following roads:
- 8th Line – south of Simcoe County Road 21
- 9th Line – just south of Simcoe County Road 21
- 5th Sideroad – just west of Simcoe County Road 10
- 9th Line – just south of the 10th Sideroad
- 10th Line – just north of Simcoe County Road 21
- 6th Line – south of Simcoe County Road 21
South Shore Contracting is expected to commence construction on the week of September 1st, 2025. It is anticipated that the project will be completed the week of December 8th, 2025. Although every effort will be made to limit the amount of disturbance to residents, inconveniences such as impeded traffic flow and access to driveways are to be expected. We request that when driving or walking through and around the construction area, please proceed with caution and obey the construction traffic signs and personnel. When necessary temporary road closures will be utilized during the time of construction, traffic will be detoured using local roads.
The scheduled temporary road closures are as follows:
- 8th Line – September 4 to October 10, 2025
- 9th Line – September 12 to October 17, 2025
- 5th Sideroad – September 24 to October 31, 2025
- 9th Line – October 1 to November 7, 2025
- 10th Line – October 14 to November 14, 2025
- 6th Line – October 22 to November 28, 2025
