Release - New Fire Hall Planned for Angus
New Fire Station in Angus!
Essa Township is excited to announce the purchase of land for a future new firehall for Angus and Essa. The existing Station #2 in Angus was constructed about 50 years ago and Essa’s population has grown such that a new firehall is needed.
The 3.5-acre property located central to Angus is easily accessible to all parts of the growing town. The new Station #2 will provide additional bays for trucks and equipment and will contain a wide range of amenities for Essa’s firefighters.

The media and public are all invited to join in a sod-turning event at 9:30 am on May 18th at 14 Huron Street, the site of the new firehall.
