Essa Township provides residents and visitors with an abundance of parks for the enjoyment of all, and is home to 20 playgrounds. Each playground offers users different amenities, please check out our list of park locations and amenities

107 Graham Street, Angus

This park is an Ontario War Memorial that is sponsored and funded by local veterans, associations and businesses as well as the Township of Essa.  It is a quiet place to sit and contemplate the efforts and sacrifices made by our soldiers in times of peace and war, around the globe.

Amenities available include the following:

  • Roll of Honour (containing names of soldiers that have lost their lives in peacekeeping efforts)
  • commemorative signage and flags
